Since 2017, Affordable Insurance Group (AIG) has worked with customers to find Medicare coverage offered through private insurance companies that contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
AIG's licensed agents find the right health plan for you by helping you discover Medicare plans that fit your budget, healthcare needs, and lifestyle. They'll be with you every step of the way to explore and compare all your Medicare coverage options, including:
Medicare Advantage plans offer alternative ways to get your Original Medicare Part A and Part B benefits. Medicare Advantage covers all the services covered by Original Medicare except hospice case, which Original Medicare continues to cover for you. Medicare Advantage plans also include additional benefits that aren't included in Original Medicare, such as prescription drug coverage, routine dental, hearing and vision coverage, and health and wellness programs.
Original Medicare Part A and Part B doesn't include prescription drug coverage, so an option to help cover the costs of medication is a Medicare Part D plan. Part D is an optional benefit that's available to everyone who has Medicare. To get coverage for your prescriptions, you are required to join a Medicare plan that offers prescription drug coverage, such as a Medicare Advantage plan. Coverage details may vary from one plan to another.
Medigap plans fill in the coverage gaps to help you pay out-of-pocket costs that aren't covered by Medicare, including copays, deductibles, and coinsurance. The plans are available in all 50 states and vary in premiums and enrollment eligibility state-by-state. Although Medigap plans are standardized, all standardized plans may not be available in your area. Most times, Medigap coverage doesn't have network limitations and is available anywhere Medicare is accepted.
